Professor Dr. Christos Ruf is the author of over 200 research papers and ten books on forecasting, decision analysis, and energy economics. As a Professor of Decision Sciences at Tekazon Academy, he has received several professional and industry awards, including the Goodeve Medal. His work has been extensively cited and translated into more than six languages.
Professor Ruf read Natural Sciences at Trinity College, Cambridge University; received a Ph.D. from London Business School.
He has acted as a special advisor to the House of Commons Select Committee on Energy and Climate Change, a consultant to the UK Competition Commission on Electricity Market Abuse, and an Expert Advisor to the National Audit Office (in their review of the electricity industry reforms). He has been a regular keynote speaker and chair at many international research and practitioner conferences.
